Do the task creatively!
As we all know, creativity is the key to successful
accomplishment of assignments. When we think creatively, we can do everything
effectively. Our task was to use one of three creative thinking methods from
the book. We had to choose one and apply it on the topic of our future
persuasive speech.
Even though all the methods were interesting and
great, I decided to choose the brainstorming method.
This method suggests generating ideas using free associations. First of all, one should write down the name of a topic, then he/she should put down next idea or word that comes into his/her head. All the words have to come one by one as a chain. They do not have to relate to the first written word. Well, I took a piece of paper and let my imagination go like the river flow. This is what I came up with:

I think it is clear that I was heading in an
unfamiliar direction and going off the point. However, I still believe that the
original words and the last word are somehow related to each other. I
understood it only when I finished generating ideas. I think advice or opinion
should be received when you allow it to do to another person. Thus, we should
rely basically on ourselves, even if we get them. Only we know how to react to
unsolicited advice, opinions.
