IT IS TIME FOR CHALLENGES
This post will be devoted to CHALLENGES! We were a
given a task to make our own list of challenges that would help us to cope with
stage fright. The tasks are to be placed in such order that they begin with the
easiest and then get more and more complicated.

Here is what I plan to do:
1.
To
talk with an acquaintance whom I do not know well about things he/ she likes.
2.
To ask to pay with a credit card even if they take cash only.
3.
To
say “hello” to every stranger I meet when I go outside.
4.
To
text a random unknown person and tell him/ her a lot of compliments about his/
her personality.
5.
To
pester a worker of the supermarket with questions about the quality of goods, the
composition of products etc.
6.
To
have a video call with a foreigner and learn more about his/her culture.
7.
To
pretend to be a foreigner and speak English in the supermarket during having a
conversation with a shop assistant.
8.
To
go to the drugstore and ask a pharmacist for his/her opinion about the
situation with coronavirus.
9.
To
speak the Sakha (Yakutian) language without switching to Russian around people who do not understand it.
10.
To
ring a wrong number on purpose to ask a random person about his/ her dreams.
Actually, I am nervous and at the same time I am
thrilled because doing crazy things is not typical for me. However, I understand
that stepping out of my comfort zone is going to contribute to development of
my speaking skills. Moreover, I hope that I will be a more confident person
after making all these challenges.
What do you think, is it
necessary to make challenges? Share your opinions in the comments down below,
please!
I liked your challenges a lot! And I hope that you can do all of them! I've heard you speaking Sakha language and wanted to know what you were speaking about so bad, ha-ha! So I believe that everyone is going to be curious.
ОтветитьУдалитьI wish you all the best, Sai! Your challenges are great!
It's so interesting to see the list of your challenge ideas! "Asking a stranger about their dreams" is my favorite! :D I can't wait to read your stories , which must be fun! Good luck with that :)))
ОтветитьУдалитьWow, these tasks are really challenging! I like all of them, but speaking the Sakha language is my favorite, because it is unique and makes you different from the others. Can't wait to read your stories too!
