CHALLENGE №4

I can live for two months on a good compliment. (Mark Twain)
It is time to tell you about my 4th challenge. This week I had the following task:
ü        To text a random unknown person and tell him/ her a lot of compliments about his/ her personality.
You are amazing - Unicorn - Sticker | TeePublic
Honestly, I do not think that this challenge was more difficult than the previous one that I made, but still it demanded from me some bravery. I don’t usually text unknown people because I don’t like getting messages from unknown people myself. To accomplish the task I used the social media VK. I went to the group which posts I liked very much and decided to look for a person in the comment section under posts. I opened the page of a girl whose profile pic caught my attention. I really was amazed by her beauty. Then I started learning more about her personality from the posts she made on her page. It turned out that she was keen on doing creative make ups and taking photos. All her works were really extraordinary. Also, I liked that she was spreading only positive vibes on her social media. I thought that she was an interesting person, that is why I assumed that writing compliments would be easy. But it wasn’t. I felt quite nervous because people usually get suspicious when they get compliments from unfamiliar ones. Nobody usually expects reaction from them. Anyway, I texted her and told that she was so beautiful, talented and inspiring. I added that I loved her photos and make ups, because they looked like art. She replied to my message, thanked me and told that my compliments made her happy and that it was rewarding for her to get feedback from people for all the content she made. I was relieved that my challenge went well and I was so glad that my compliments gave her positive emotions. Thus, to sum it up, we can say that “a compliment is a verbal sunshine”, they warm up hearts of everyone.
