CHALLENGE №8

One day I worked at the drugstore and everything went as usual. I sold medicine, different prescribed pills and masks to clients. But then a girl came who seemed to be interested not in making a purchase, but in having a conversation.  I thought it was strange enough that people would come to the drugstore just to talk with a pharmacist.

 She asked a few questions about the situation with the coronavirus. I was a bit puzzled and did know what to say. Actually, I was suspicious about the girl. Why did she want to know my opinion? Was it kind of a joke? Did someone record a video or audio of me while I talked? I know that in such cases any pharmacist, shop assistant would say that it is not their duty to answer such questions. However, as I was a bit surprised and I did not expect that, I decided to tell my opinion about the situation with coronavirus. Moreover, I thought that there was nothing wrong that people would be curious or worried because of the virus. It is understandable that they can have a few questions to specialists whose work is related with medicine. I told that the duration of quarantine is unfamiliar to me as to anyone else and also explained why we need to wear masks. Even though I was a bit annoyed and tired of that customer I tried my best to look as a qualified worker. She bought some medicine, thanked me and went away. I let out a sigh of relief. I enjoyed this anyway because this conversation was something unusual in my dull working days.
