Review of a peer's speech

Hello! In this post we have to analyze our peer’s persuasive speech.

1.     The main idea of the speech is that everyone need to be happy at the present time.

2.     The intended audience is everyone, really. The problem she is talking about can be relatable to all people. The tome is appropriate and nice.

3.     Yes, it starts with rhetorical questions.

4.     The thesis goes like this: When the "time to enjoy" points to the future, we lose some of the precious moments of our lives. I think it sounds pretty okay to me.

5.     Yes, Anya has a clear preview that lets listeners easily follow her.

6.     Yes, absolutely.

7.     Anya brought various kinds of information to support her thesis. They are mainly examples from life, descriptions, illustrations and quotes from books.

8.     I think that she worked with examples very well and there are enough of them. In my opinion, all the point-support that Anya provided is convincing, suitable and appropriate.

9.     Sure. She uses linking words, moreover, her speech is very well structured.

10.                        All the information was clear to me.

11.                       I did not notice any grammar, punctuation mistakes. All the words were written correctly.

12.                        I like the body of her speech and especially the part where she talks about the reasons why we are unhappy. It was very interesting to find out this information.

All in all, I think the speech is successful. Can’t wait to listen to it live!
